Rest in Peace Liquid

I just got word from a blog friend named Jean that Liquid Illuzion (Suzanne Horne) took her life on Christmas Eve. I discovered her wonderful wit and sense of humor only around Thanksgiving. This hurts and brings back memories. Memories I would like to forget. My brother Joe committed suicide back in 1971. I was 16 years old and helped my Dad take Joe off the end of a rope. All these hurts are back. I pray Joe and Liquid are in heaven together. Pray for those who loved and knew the good of Suzanne. Please pray for them all. Go here and here for more on the lovely Suzanne. I'm so very hurt by this news. Some hurts will never go away and we may never know the why's.

I am still in shock. She was such a vibrant woman, a real force of nature.
Sadly, she had demons that would not let her rest.
May she find the peace that so escaped her here on this earth.
And I am sorry too for your family's tragic loss. Suicide of a loved one is a wound that never heals.

Your perfect day at Big Sur and the love of your family you enjoy... made me think of the words to that hymn "There is a balm in Gilead, that makes the wounded whole."

Be nice to you.

That is a pain that never really leaves. And I'm so sorry you have that with you....

Gene: Thanks for linking to my blog, though I was just pouring my heart out the day after I heard this. I feel bad for you that you had an old wound reopened. 16 is the age when the only people you should even think of losing would be a grand parent.

I have spotted all over bloggeritaville, as Suzanne called it, that many bloggers and their readers were touched by her love.

So many of us share the sadness of losing her. May we all remember the joy of her love so freely given.

My husband committed suicide in 1997.
I am so sorry for the loss of your brother, JG.
